October 18 - Healing

Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.
I selected the above scripture as much for the ending of the scripture as the hope that this scripture gives people for their healing. My new song that I use in battle is titled “That’s Who I Praise”, and it reminds me of all the things God has done for so many of our heroes of the bible and who He is that regardless of the outcome of my situation (or anyone’s situation), there is only one whom I praise and that is the One that can heal, can deliver, and can save. It also reminds me that often times, people will believe He has saved them, but struggle with believing He can and will heal them. Father God can heal, He is sovereign and may not where it is seen here on earth, but we need to know that we will all ultimately be healed regardless, when we enter into His presence.
I say we must trust in Him and Him alone for our healing as Jesus bore those bloody stripes upon His back so that we would be healed and we must never, ever stop praising Him.
